Sada's new family writes ... About a year ago my family and I adopted a wonderful cat named Sada. Here
is her story...
My boyfriend and I were browsing through Animal Aide's website
without any real intention of finding the right cat. It didn't take very long
to find a cat that we thought could be the right one for us. We e-mailed
Animal Aide right away to find out if Sada was still up for adoption, which she
was. Along with our two kids we also have a dog and a cat so I needed to make
sure Sada would adapt in this type of household. Thankfully I learned that she had the
type of personality that should accept any other person or animal. I also
found out that she had been pregnant at only about eight months and had delivered a
litter of kittens just a few days after she was rescued. She had then become a
surrogate mother to some other kittens which was one of the main reasons why
it was suggested to me that she should be a loving cat to all.
The day that we went to get her at the shelter she was very reserved and
afraid but that was only understandable considering her previous circumstances of
being abandoned. When we got home she hid for only an hour before she had enough
courage to come out to meet with the family. After that, it didn't take long
for her to adjust to all of us. She has gone from being scared to becoming a
wonderful, loving and spoiled cat. I wanted to thank Animal Aide for helping us
find Sada, she has been such a joy to have around.
