Midnight - a former "pound" cat writes ... Hi, my name is Midnight and just a few weeks ago I was listed on the "Pound cats" adoption page! Now I have a wonderful home in the country with a devoted human slave to look after me and two big cat brothers to play with. Things are so good for me now that it's hard to remember how scared and lonely I was when I showed up at the pound. Then Dale and Pat from Animal Aide found a potential family for me via the web site and took me to the vet for my vaccinations and spay. The next day my new human came to the vet, met me, fell in love with me (well who wouldn't, I'm very lovable!) and took me right home. Since then I've been busy playing with my little foam balls - I love chasing them all over the house and carrying them back to my human for her to throw again. I've been making friends with the other two cats, eating lots of yummy kitten food and of course I spend a lot of time having beauty-sleeps. (They must work because I'm very beautiful!) So I want to thank Dale and Pat and all the great humans at Animal Aide for rescuing me. And I want to let everyone know what a big difference you can make by adopting a cat or dog from Animal Aide or the pound... you can give a lost animal a new life while filling an empty space in your own!
