Gabe's new family writes ...

Dear Animal Aide,
Gabe Here is our story about the cat we adopted, Gabe.

When we brought Gabe home he was very frightened. Gabe stayed in his crate for about 30 minutes before he decided to bolt under my brother's bed. He was quite scared and hid under the bed for about three weeks only coming out when nobody was around. Gabe was not used to living in a house - he had been at Animal Aide for almost a year. Although he was treated very well there he didn't have a home to call his own. Now before our eyes he has become a loving, adoring cat! He thinks every bed in the house is his and he is very spoiled. If you are not sure about adopting a timid cat we can tell you that it will be okay in time. Gabe is a different cat now; we have only had him for 2 months and he loves to be around people and kids.

From Mackenzie (age 7) and Danielle (age 9)
