Leaf
Leaf is one of seven kittens trapped in a backyard this past July and brought to Animal Aide. Leaf was the largest kitten and the most frightened. Leaf was about 6 weeks old when he came to us and has since been neutered. Leaf has beautiful tabby markings with an adorable white stripe on his nose. Leaf is still learning to trust people, but has come very far. He is looking for a quiet home with no young children or dogs. If you have the love and patience to finish helping this sweet boy to trust, you will have accomplished a feat worth doing. Leaf can be seen at Animal Aide at 333 Talbot St, St. Thomas, by sending us an email or by calling us at 519-633-3788.

Libby
Libby - Well, I'm just shocked!!! I never thought it would happen to me but......here I am, in a shelter, surrounded by strangers and even stranger humans. My people decided that I would be happier in someone else's home now that they had a new baby but I'm not so sure. Had I known what was going to happen, I could have tried to share..... I think. I came here June 22, 2007, at just 10 months old. I deserve a chance to be happy too. Won't you help?? Come meet me and my new "friends" at Animal Aide, 333 Talbot St. St. Thomas, 519-633-3788 or email us. I AM CUTE. I AM FRIENDLY. I AM HOPEFUL.

Lotus
Lotus - Did you ever think you would want to own a Lotus? They are probably more than the average person could handle. Our Lotus is, in comparison, a real bargain. She is not as fast but I'm sure she would be just as much fun. Lotus is approximately 1 year old and joined us at the shelter June 11, 2007. She is a dark brown striped tabby who seems to be quite friendly. Lotus is small in stature but has quite a motor when she lets it run. Visit Lotus at, 333 Talbot St., St. Thomas, 519-633-3788 or email us for more information. SHE'S ON THE FAST TRACK.

Louie
Louie arrived at Animal Aide on April 11, 2006 at the age of 2 years. Louie is a beautiful brown tabby with gorgeous markings. Louie is a neutered male who loves to play, but has been very lonely since his brother, Hughie got adopted recently. Louie can be held, but he is very particular about how close you put your face to his. If you get too close to his face, he will lean away from you. The volunteers at Animal Aide believe his protectiveness of his personal space another part of his charm. Louie would do best in a home with one other cat to play with, but no small children. Louie is a little shy, but one look at those eyes and you just know that earning his trust will be well worth it! To meet Louie, please visit Animal Aide at 333 Talbot St, St. Thomas, email us or call at 519-633-3788. You won't be disappointed!

Luster
When Luster arrived at the pound, she was days away from giving birth. In the days before we were able to bring her to Animal Aide from the pound, Luster had six kittens. Luster was a wonderful mother who had to raise six kittens while battling a bad cold. Luster became a member of the Animal Aide family on August 6, 2006, at the approximate age of 2 years. When Luster arrived, she was frightened and very protective of her kittens. She is still shy and spooks easily, but Luster is losing her fear of people. If you have the time and patience to work with Luster, she can be met at Animal Aide at 333 Talbot St, St. Thomas, by sending an email, or by calling at 519-633-3788.

Marilyn
Marilyn - Wouldn't you just love to curl up with Marilyn? Marilyn is ready, willing and able to go home with you, today. Marilyn and her beautiful kittens (her last litter, ever) came to the shelter June 15, 2007. She is a petite, dark brown tabby who is only 2 years old. Marilyn is friendly, affectionate and likes to be held. She hasn't been tested as a lap cat but we think she just may be comfortable enough to succeed at it. Come and visit with our little diamond at 333 Talbot St. St. Thomas, call 519-633-3788 or email for more information. "GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES." WE PREFER MARILYN.

Martha
Martha can't cook, clean, garden, sew or make crafts. Martha can look glamorous and be a wonderful companion for a person or family who has no other pets. She came to our shelter from the pound April 23, 2007, and was sent to Super Pet because she was sooooo fabulous. She was adopted but couldn't cope with the family's other pets and so, was returned. Martha is an especially appealing 1 1/2 year old, medium haired, black and white cat. She really just wants a quiet home where she can be the main focus. Won't you open your heart to our Martha? Visit Martha at Animal Aide, 333 Talbot St., St. Thomas, 519-633-3788 or email for more information. LET MARTHA DECORATE YOUR HOME.

Melvin
Melvin - Hello, I arrived at Animal Aide on March 27, 2007, at the age of 2 years. Although I was not looking my best, they took me in and have been very kind. I was a bit of a mess, I'm afraid as I had managed to break my leg. They took me to the vet who was able to save my leg during surgery. I am told that I will have to be patient and have plenty of cage rest so that my leg and hip will heal. Because of the way the girls always look my way, I believe that I am considered a good-looking tabby and white neutered male. I am very friendly and love to cuddle although I am a little leery at the moment because of my injuries. I am looking for a loving home with people who will be kind to me. I will return your love freely and openly. Please come visit me at Animal Aide at 333 Talbot St, St. Thomas, send me an email, or give me a call at 519-633-3788. And don't forget, I'm quite a catch!

Minka
Minka is a spayed tabby and white female. Minka was brought to Animal Aide on October 21, 2004 at approximately 4 years old. Minka was found wandering the streets. At the time, Minka was very afraid and could not be touched. Our dedicated volunteers spent time with Minka to help her learn to trust people. Minka has been with us for over two years and has earned the right to a home where she will be loved. If you can do this for her, please visit Minka at Animal Aide at 333 Talbot St, email her or call her at 519-633-3788.

Misty
Misty joined our growing feline family on April 30, 2007. She had been surrendered by her owners who were worried about their new baby. Misty is an impressive 5 year old, long-haired, declawed torti - tabby who, when she came to us was so badly matted that she had to be shaved. She has what we affectionately call the "poodle cut". She is embarrassed right now but in time her magnificent coat will grow back. Misty is friendly but gets nervous if visitors move too quickly. She would probably be happiest in a home with no other pets as she does not seem to like other cats. Right now, Misty must feel like she is the only nudist on the public beach, so, if you would like to come in and cheer her up, she would appreciate it. Mon - Sat 10-4, 333 Talbot St., St. Thomas, 519-633-3788 or send us an email. SHE'S A COOL KITTY !!

Mitzi
Mitzi - Poor Mitzi!!! She is not feeling very happy right now, and who can blame her? Mitzi was surrendered to the pound March 22, 2007 at 4 years of age. She thought she had a very happy home but developing allergies forced her owners to make the difficult decision to give her up. We were told that Mitzi has a fabulous personality. In time, we hope to see that personality for ourselves but we have to work on healing Mitzi's broken heart first. If you think you can help, come and visit Mitzi at 333 Talbot St., St. Thomas, call 519-633-3788 or send us an email. You'll be glad you did!

Myla
Myla is an amazingly spirited one and half year old sweetie. She has a shiny black coat and fabulous gold eyes. Myla has been with us since April 18, 2007 when she was surrendered with 2 friends by her owner. Myla likes to be held but would prefer to be playing tag on the floor with her buddies. Please consider Myla when you come in to visit us at 333 Talbot St., St. Thomas, Mon-Sat, 10-4. Or you can send an email or call at 519-633-3788.
