Eddie |
This handsome boy is Eddie. Eddie has been through a lot.
He arrived at Animal Aide on September 13, 2005, with five
other cats when their loving elderly owner was hospitalized.
Although back home, she has had to put them up for adoption.
Eddie is the last of her cats waiting for a new home of his own.
Eddie was about four-and-a-half years old when he came into
our care. Eddie
is a gray and white neutered male who is still a bit shy, but
has a heart of gold. Won't you please give this sweet boy the
love he deserves? Eddie can be seen at Animal Aide at 333 Talbot
St, St. Thomas, by sending us an
email,

Evelyn |
Evelyn -
Things are definitely looking up for Evelyn. Poor Evelyn was found
raising 5 kittens in a doghouse in Port Stanley. Can you imagine!!!
The family was rescued from that humiliation by Animal Aide and
placed in foster care. All the kids have been adopted and Evelyn is
now with us at the shelter. This mostly white, 4 year old,
short-haired cat is learning that people are pretty good and is beginning
to realize that she wants one or two for her very own. Won't you give
her a chance? Hasn't she had enough humiliation in her life?? Visit
Evelyn at 333 Talbot St., St. Thomas, call at 519-633-3788 or
e-mail
us.
THE BEST IS YET TO COME.

Faith |
This shy girl is Faith.
Faith arrived from the pound on July 13, 2006, at the age of 2
years. Faith is a torbie with wonderful markings. Faith loves to be
petted, but is very unsure of being held. In fact, as you can see
from this photo, Faith is a little too nervous to take her back paws
out of her bed! Faith will stretch from her bed in the back of her
cage to the front of her cage where her food and water bowls are
placed. Our volunteers have been working with Faith, hoping to build
her confidence. During these times, everything is removed from her
cage and she is petted and spoken to softly. Faith is responding
well and doesn't really look for her bed to put her back feet
into, but is still relieved to see it come back. One of the best
things about working at Animal Aide is watching a cat like Faith
come into her own. If you have the patience to bring Faith the rest
of the way, please come see this adorable girl. Animal Aide is open
from 10am to 4pm Monday-Saturday, 333 Talbot St, St. Thomas,
call 519-633-3788, or email
us. Why don't we all have a little Faith?

Felix |
Felix - If you are looking for a friendly, long-haired, declawed
companion who is past kitten-hood, then look no further. Felix came to
the shelter May 10, 2007 when he was surrendered by his owner. Felix
was having problems getting along with his feline friend so he had to
go. This 6 year old sweetie is very friendly and loves to be held.
Felix would be happiest in a cat-free home so you can imagine his
distress at the moment. If you would be interested in rescuing Felix
from his rather annoying (only to him) neighbours, visit us at
333 Talbot St., St. Thomas or
email us. HE'S PRAYING FOR RESCUE!

Festus |
Festus - This is one handsome dude! Festus arrived on
our doorstep on May 23, 2007, at the age of 2 years. He was rescued
by someone who found him in a horse barn, dodging hooves for a
living. Festus is very friendly and loves attention. He enjoys
being petted and never feels like he has had enough petting.
When you take your hand away, he reaches out for it in an effort
to get you to finish the massage. If you are in the market for a
tabby and white neutered male who just wants to be loved, check
out Festus by visiting Animal Aide, 333 Talbot St, St. Thomas,
calling at 519-633-3788, or
sending
us an email. Festus is the bestest!

Flora |
Flora was rescued from the city shelter April 27, 2007. She is
a lovely 2-year-old brown tabby who is extremely thin after
giving birth. A month or two of good nutritious food will turn
her into a new cat. Flora is not comfortable with being picked
up just yet, but is very friendly and loves to be petted. One
look into those pretty green eyes and you will be hooked.
Gazing time is Mon- Sat, 10-4 and Sun 10-3, 333 Talbot St., St.
Thomas or
email
us for more info. FLORA WILL REALLY GROW ON YOU.

Glimmer |
This beautiful black goddess is Glimmer. Glimmer arrived
at Animal Aide on March 20, 2006, at the age of 2 years. A pregnant
Glimmer was rescued behind the Bingo Hall in St. Thomas. Glimmer had
five kittens who have all been adopted. Glimmer has golden eyes that
look right through you. She is alert and usually comes down on the side
of caution. She enjoys being petted and will often raise her head to your
hand. Glimmer is a quiet girl looking for a quiet home to call her own.
If you can grant this request, please call for Glimmer at 519-633-3788,
send an
email
or visit her at 333 Talbot St, St. Thomas.
