Tour the Animal Aide centre
At Animal Aide we pride ourselves on providing a bright, sunny atmosphere for all our feline residents while they're waiting for adoption into their permanent homes. Our cats and kittens are pampered and given lots of love and attention by our team of caring volunteers. If you love animals and would like to make a difference in the lives of hundreds of cats and kittens, volunteering at our cat adoption centre is a great way to do it! Call us today at 519.633.3788 or email us for more information about how you can get involved!

Troy welcomes visitors Your tour starts just inside the front door where Troy welcomes visitors to the centre! Troy is one of our favourite success stories... very ill with an upper respiratory infection he made an amazing recovery and was later reunited with his human family after spending several pampered months at the centre.

Kitten cages Cages have over-flowed into our front reception area where a young volunteer checks that the kittens' food and water dishes are full.

Front room A room with a view! Cats in the front room (Residence 1) watch passing pigeons, people and dogs on Talbot Street.

Front room Two volunteers check on the cats in Residence 1.

Front room Residence 1 features three windows facing on Talbot Street so the cats can soak up the sunshine.

Front room Residence 1 - a sun-filled corner. Our felines get lots of attention from cat-loving volunteers passing by!

Med room Even the "med room"/ office houses cats and kittens. Any empty cages are filled immediately!

Med room Med room/office - time out from paperwork for a cuddle with a med room resident.

Middle room Residence 2: lots and lots of cats! That's Athena doing gymnastics in the top left cage.

Patty, Clara and Rainbow Residence 3: Long-time and much loved residents Patty and Clara snuggle in the background, while Rainbow keeps watch.

Rainbow Residence 3: Rainbow watches the sparrows and pedestrians from the back window. Very shy when she came to us, Rainbow can't get enough attention now.

Flossie Residence 3: Flossie soaks up some sunshine in the window at the back of the building.

"Who's that in my bed?!" Click the video to see Clara and Rainbow in action!

"That's better!" Patty (aka Princess Patricia) gives Clara (aka Duchess Clarissa) a bath.

If you think the cat adoption centre looks like a fun place to volunteer, you're right! Click here to learn more about volunteering!
